A snapshot of my experience

As a Content Specialist and Copywriter at NCCO, I conducted market research, created marketing strategies, provided creative direction, and collaborated with designers, marketers, and sales professionals to create content for several platforms.

Copywriting + fly fishing = fake ads to keep the skills sharp

I love the idea of business being a force for good—one that allows people to “vote with their dollar.” So, I created Conscious Suds to connect people with that idea (and some organic soap). Along with a team of creatives, we built a brand from the ground up.

Beacon is on a mision to ensure that all individuals have a home. That’s the mission I get to create content around as a digital marketing manager for this scrappy non-profit.

Convey Digital operates in a unique niche—helping B2B businesses with their demand-gen challenges. My work involved creating web and social content that communicated the unique value provided by the Convey team.

At Latitude (a brand experience agency in Minneapolis), I worked with a senior strategist to research retail and omnichannel trends before distilling those findings into newsletters, articles, reports, a print magazine, and a podcast.

Through the power of AI, IDeaS helps hospitality organizations worldwide increase revenue through their SaaS offerings. However, it can be difficult to communicate exactly what IDeaS does for its clients. That’s where I came in to help.

As a freelance writer working with Sunrise—a small, organic flour mill in Minnesota—I collaborated with another marketing specialist to conduct market research and create original email content to educate our customers and boost sales.

My work with The John Kim Show led me to partner with a team of creatives to illuminate issues (and solutions) around climate change. Our videos tell the stories of companies solving the climate crisis, and they invite everyday people to get involved.

My work with Wiley’s workplace learning branch involved partnering with professionals across the in-house marketing team to create content that would communicate the value of our tools to our partner network and everyday end users.

Edition Studios—a small creative agency in Minneapolis—gave me one of my first experiences as a copywriter. I worked with their small but mighty team to write social media content and create web content for clients (and Edition’s own website).

As a freelance writer working with JT Mega Food Advertising, I collaborated with agency creatives to create written and visual content for food brands. As someone who enjoys cooking, this ended up being more fun than work.

Along with a team of scrappy, idealistic college entrepreneurs, I conducted market research, developed a brand story and voice, created social and web content, and advocated for our brand of upcycled outdoor goods.

In my free time, I like to cook (casually) and hang out with my friend Arinn. We have so much fun, we thought we'd share it with the world (the world of YouTube, that is). Our show empowers everyday people to feel confident in the kitchen.
